Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Prior customer service experience required
- Prior front desk or hospitality experience preferred

Job Duties
- Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome
- Use a clear, understandable speaking voice
- respond to inquiries with accurate information regarding hours of outlet operation, directions to local attractions, or meeting rooms, car rentals and airline shuttle service
- Field guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop the most effective solutions and negotiate results
- Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services including recommendations for local attractions, submission and receipt confirmation of faxes, use of the photocopier, transportation, reservations, dry cleaning
- Respond to special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction
- Contact appropriate individual or department such as Bellperson or Housekeeping to resolve guest call, request, or problem
- Monitor club lounge for seating availability, service, safety, cleanliness and well-being of guests
- Answer guest questions regarding area or hotel, outlet information and services
- Effectively deal with internal and external customers, needing patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts
- Represent the hotel with professionalism and decorum
- Follow all Marcus Hotels and Resorts policies, Marriott Standards, and Information Protection procedures
- Attend all scheduled mandatory meetings, trainings and hotel meetings
- Perform other related duties and special projects as requested or assigned
