This position is located at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center in Texas and is a full-time, non-management role within the Food and Beverage and Culinary category. The schedule is full time, and the role requires on-site presence to support the hotel's operational needs.

The role involves essential responsibilities related to the efficient completion of closing duties in the food and beverage service areas. This includes final breakdown and cleanup of function rooms, proper cleaning and storage of equipment, organizing and maintaining work areas, and overseeing cleanliness and hygiene standards in assigned service areas. The position also involves transporting soiled linens to designated laundering areas, separating napkins from tablecloths, and restocking clean linens to respective shelves. The associate is expected to maintain tidiness throughout the workday with consistent cleaning efforts and support other departments as necessary to ensure optimal guest service. Adherence to company safety policies is crucial, including reporting maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries and completing all relevant safety training and certifications. The role demands physical stamina to handle tasks such as lifting and moving objects within weight limits both independently and with assistance, standing or walking for extended periods, and performing movements like bending, reaching, and climbing stairs or ramps. Communication skills are important to greet guests according to company standards and interact professionally with colleagues and guests. This non-management role serves as an integral part of the hotel operations team supporting the hospitality promise of Marriott Hotels to deliver "A Wonderful Hotel Experience, Always." Job Duties

  • Complete the final breakdown of function rooms by cleaning and storing equipment properly
  • Complete closing tasks such as storing reusable merchandise, locking doors, sorting merchandise
  • Organize, stock, and maintain work areas
  • Supervise and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of assigned service areas
