Job Description
Greystar is a prominent, fully integrated global real estate platform specializing in property management, investment management, development, and construction services within the institutional-quality rental housing sector. Headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina, the company operates on a vast scale, managing assets worth over $300 billion across more than 265 markets worldwide, with offices spanning North America, Europe, South America, and the Asia-Pacific region. As the largest operator of apartments in the United States, Greystar oversees management of over one million rental units and beds globally. The firm holds nearly $79 billion in assets under management across various platforms, including more than $35 billion in development assets and in excess of $36.5 billion in regulatory assets. Founded by Bob Faith in 1993, Greystar's mission is to deliver world-class service within the rental residential real estate industry, affirming its commitment to excellence and innovation.
The Resident Services Coordinator role at Greystar is a key position designed to enhance resident experience and support property operations in a stabilized, high-rise community with 633 units. Scheduled Friday through Tuesday from 10 pm to 7 am, this role demands 1 to 2 years of related experience, particularly in concierge services, front desk operations, and property security management. Offering a comprehensive housing discount, this position provides full housing eligibility as a significant benefit. The hourly pay rate for this job ranges between $18.27 and $20.00, with additional incentive-based bonuses available to qualified employees. The Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and implementing a diverse range of resident service programs while serving as an essential information resource related to local market amenities and services.
This role involves welcoming prospects and residents, ensuring their comfort during visits, answering and routing telephone inquiries, completing service request callbacks, and maintaining guest suite schedules. Managing logistics such as package deliveries, loading dock and elevator scheduling for move-ins and move-outs, and upkeep of clubhouse amenities are integral duties. The coordinator also tracks equipment rentals and dry cleaning services, assists in scheduling and organizing resident activities, and maintains up-to-date knowledge of local resources and vendor relationships, all of which contribute to a superior resident experience.
Outstanding physical stamina is required due to the need to stand, walk, or sit for extended durations and perform physical tasks like bending, stooping, lifting (up to 25 pounds independently or 50 pounds with assistance), and working in all weather conditions. Flexible scheduling including evening, weekend, and holiday availability, along with occasional travel to assist other properties or attend training, is expected. Greystar supports its employees with a robust package of benefits including competitive medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, low-cost medical coverage for employees, generous paid time off starting from 15 vacation days plus personal and sick days, and paid parental leave with fertility benefits. Additional perks include a 401(k) plan with company match, paid sabbaticals, employee assistance programs, and community engagement initiatives. Greystar prioritizes a safe and transparent hiring process, ensuring all communication is conducted securely and officially. Overall, joining Greystar as a Resident Services Coordinator means becoming part of a global leader in rental housing committed to service excellence, career growth, and comprehensive employee support.
