Job Description

PruittHealth is a reputable provider of senior living and healthcare services dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to elders across the communities it serves. Rooted in the values of family and community, PruittHealth emphasizes love, giving, and caring in its mission to enhance the lives of residents. The organization operates assisted living facilities and skilled nursing centers equipped with supportive environments that promote safety, dignity, and well-being. PruittHealth is known for its commitment to fostering a culture where staff and residents feel connected and supported, underscoring the motto 'Family Makes Us Stronger.' This culture strengthens both the community within each facility and the quality of care provided.

The Concierge role at PruittHealth's assisted living facility plays a critical part in embodying this mission by serving as the first point of contact for residents, their families, guests, and vendors. Operating on a PRN basis with varying shifts, this position requires a professional with excellent interpersonal abilities who can manage front desk operations efficiently while maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Concierge is essential in ensuring a seamless flow of communication and services throughout the facility. By greeting visitors warmly and handling inquiries, calls, and requests, this role enhances resident satisfaction and supports the operational needs of the building.

Beyond reception duties, the Concierge coordinates with multiple departments including maintenance, housekeeping, and dining services, to facilitate a timely response to resident needs. This collaboration helps sustain the quality and responsiveness of care and services offered daily. The role also involves logistical tasks such as monitoring visitor access for security, maintaining accurate records including visitor logs and package deliveries, and assisting residents with transportation or appointment reminders.

Additionally, this role requires the Concierge to support event coordination and community programming, which fosters a vibrant social environment within the assisted living community. Handling emergencies calmly and according to protocol is a vital responsibility, ensuring safety and preparedness at all times. The position demands strict adherence to confidentiality and respect for privacy, consistent with HIPAA standards and elder care regulations.

Ideal candidates for this Concierge position have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree preferred. They must bring at least one year of customer service or administrative experience, ideally in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare settings. Effective communication skills, professionalism, adaptability, and problem-solving capabilities are key traits. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with office technology equip the Concierge to perform efficiently while managing multiple tasks without compromising composure.

Overall, this role provides a rewarding opportunity for those passionate about serving seniors and contributing positively to a supportive and caring community environment. PruittHealth welcomes applicants eager to be part of a family-oriented culture focused on making a meaningful difference in residents' lives, offering a position that combines administrative responsibilities with genuine human connection and support.
