The company is renowned for its commitment to high standards of care and its supportive work culture where employees are empowered to make a positive difference in the lives of seniors. PruittHealth operates multiple assisted living facilities, offering residents exceptional living experiences while addressing their health, social, and emotional needs comprehensively.
This part-time Concierge position at PruittHealth's assisted living facility offers a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about customer service and administrative support within the senior living industry. Scheduled from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday to Friday, this role is pivotal as the primary point of contact for residents, their families, guests, and vendors. The Concierge is integral to creating a welcoming and secure environment and enhancing the overall resident experience. This role involves not only front desk management but also coordination across departments such as maintenance, housekeeping, and dining to ensure seamless service delivery.
In this role, the Concierge will personally greet residents and visitors with warmth and professionalism, directly impacting the community's social atmosphere. Beyond greeting and reception duties, the position demands acute attention to security protocols such as visitor access monitoring to maintain safety standards. The Concierge supports residents by assisting with tasks like transportation scheduling and appointment reminders, which are essential for the well-being and convenience of the senior residents. Administrative responsibilities include maintaining accurate logs and managing communication channels effectively, demonstrating the importance of strong organizational skills.
Additionally, the Concierge supports community life by aiding in event coordination and responding to emergency situations in calm and appropriate manners, underscoring the importance of adaptability and composure under pressure. Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent are encouraged to apply, although an associate degree is preferred, along with a background in customer service or administrative roles, particularly in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality sectors.
Overall, this role offers a meaningful way to contribute to the quality of life of older adults while working within a supportive, mission-driven organization. The position provides an excellent balance of interpersonal interaction, administrative duties, and community engagement in a respected assisted living setting.
