The Concierge position at PruittHealth plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for residents, families, guests, and vendors. This full-time role, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., centers on delivering exceptional customer service and providing essential administrative support within an assisted living setting. The Concierge ensures a warm, professional, and helpful atmosphere by greeting all visitors and residents, managing front desk operations, and overseeing visitor access to maintain safety protocols.
This challenging and rewarding role requires an individual to assist with daily resident needs such as transportation scheduling, appointment reminders, and providing general information, thus directly impacting the comfort and well-being of the community. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of customer service or administrative experience
- Preferably experience in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Adherence to confidentiality and resident privacy standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of customer service or administrative experience
- Experience in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office equipment
- Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
- Familiarity with HIPAA and elder care standards is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet residents, visitors, and staff warmly and professionally
- Manage front desk operations including answering phones, responding to inquiries, and directing calls appropriately
- Monitor visitor access and maintain security protocols
- Assist residents with requests such as transportation scheduling, appointment reminders, and general information
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely service delivery (e.g., maintenance, housekeeping, dining)
- Maintain accurate logs and records (e.g., visitor sign-in, package deliveries, resident requests)
- Support event coordination and community programming as needed
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and in accordance with facility protocols
- Uphold confidentiality and respect for resident privacy at all times
