BCG’s Washington, D.C. office is seeking a Concierge Assistant, a pivotal hospitality-focused role that serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees. Working under the guidance of the Operations Director, the Concierge Assistant manages day-to-day front-of-office operations and delivers high-touch support that enhances the overall office experience.

This full-time role requires the assistant to be present in the office five days a week, fostering vital collaboration, networking, and learning opportunities within the team. Compensation includes a base salary range from $55,000 to $61,667, supplemented by an annual discretionary bonus of up to 12%, profit-sharing contributions beginning at 5% and increasing to 10% after two years, and a comprehensive benefits package. The Concierge Assistant is responsible for greeting and directing visitors, handling administrative requests, and managing front desk systems such as the desk reservation and visitor access portals. They act as a liaison with building security for badge issuance and audit compliance, assist with meeting coordination including catering and IT support, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of reception and common areas. This role requires a detail-oriented, hospitality-minded individual who exercises sound judgment, professionalism, and effective communication when managing diverse priorities and last-minute changes.

Job Duties

  • Greeting and directing visitors in a professional and courteous manner offering amenities
  • assisting employees and visitors with navigation and desk reservation system
  • handling guests’ individual needs including office assignments and other administrative requests
  • monitoring concierge inbox and request portal regularly processing guest space and conference room reservations
  • triaging meeting support requests such as catering and IT ensuring accurate communication and execution
  • assisting with basic IT requests including guest Wi-Fi login details
  • communicating with team members to support projects manage office space and assist with internal events providing backup coverage as necessary
  • printing employee access badges liaising with building security for seamless entry and audit compliance
  • maintaining visitor guide providing information to visitors upon arrival
  • arranging car services and validating parking upon request
  • maintaining office meeting and events calendar
  • supporting functional teams with large-scale meetings or events including room management
  • maintaining cleanliness of reception areas
  • assisting with general office projects such as printing and binding as needed
