The Concierge position at Christian Living Communities | Cappella Living Solutions plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and vendors, embodying the organization’s commitment to outstanding hospitality and personalized service. This self-motivated role responds to resident inquiries, assists with reservations for dining, travel, home services, events, and entertainment, and manages communication channels like telephone and mail. The Concierge is not only responsible for greeting visitors and directing them efficiently but also assists with clerical duties including correspondence, scheduling, maintaining resident directories, and handling emergency situations when the Resident Services Director is not available. This role supports a secure environment by conducting interior rounds, administering building systems, and managing work orders.

This position is offered on a PRN basis, with flexible day and night shifts available, providing an hourly wage range of $19.75 to $22.00. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • working knowledge of multi-extension, multi-line telephone system
  • prior concierge or hospitality experience preferred
  • energetic and enthusiastic with exceptional communication skills
  • good organizational skills, follow-up and follow through
  • minimum one-year experience in a business office environment
  • strong clerical skills including knowledge of computer software such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • must be able to read, write and speak English

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • prior concierge or hospitality experience strongly preferred
  • energetic and enthusiastic with exceptional communication skills
  • good organizational skills with ability to multitask
  • minimum one-year experience in a business office environment
  • strong clerical skills including knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • must possess strong communication and excellent customer service skills
  • must be able to read, write and speak English

Job Duties

  • Screens incoming calls
  • takes messages and/or forwards calls as appropriate
  • greets and signs in all visitors
  • greets and provides directions or information to residents, visitors, guests and vendors
  • responsible for sorting and distributing incoming mail
  • provides clerical assistance such as typing letters, memorandums, reports, and forms
  • receives event reservations and schedules guest apartment reservations while updating census, resident directory and birthday lists
  • provides basic community information and ensures marketing brochures are available
  • responds to Emergency Call System and building alarm system
  • administers Stat Check System
  • performs periodic interior rounds to ensure building security
  • receives and processes work orders for the community
  • manages office equipment and supplies
  • offers effective and courteous service to all residents, guests and co-workers
  • handles resident emergency situations in absence of the Resident Services Director
  • performs other duties as assigned
