The role available is for a Concierge position, offering part-time, on-call (PRN) shifts during the day and night, located in Wheat Ridge, CO. This role is pivotal as the first and central point of contact for service-related issues within the community. The Concierge function involves a strong hospitality focus, serving residents, visitors, guests, and vendors by providing personalized service, answering inquiries, handling phone and mail communications, and assisting with a wide array of resident needs including dining reservations, travel arrangements, entertainment options, and in-home services. The Concierge manages multiple responsibilities such as greeting visitors, directing questions, sorting and distributing mail, supporting clerical duties including typing correspondence and reporting, and ensuring the security and smooth operation of the building by performing regular rounds and managing emergency responses.
This position demands excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and an energetic and enthusiastic disposition. The Concierge should be able to multitask effectively, handle interruptions gracefully, and maintain a warm and inviting atmosphere that aligns with the community’s values. Experience with multi-line telephone systems, basic office software (Word, Excel, Outlook), and a minimum of one year working in a business office environment are essential. The role requires physical activity such as standing, sitting, and occasional lifting of objects up to 20 pounds. Working conditions involve frequent interaction with residents, family members, visitors, and team members, requiring the Concierge to be adaptable and personable at all times.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to read, write and speak English

- working knowledge of multi-extension, multi-line telephone system

Job Duties
- Screens incoming calls
- takes messages and/or forwards calls as appropriate
- greets and signs in all visitors
- provides directions or information to residents, visitors, guests and vendors
- sorts and distributes incoming mail
- provides clerical assistance including typing letters, reports, forms
- receives event reservations and updates records
- provides basic information about the community and marketing materials
- responds to emergency call and alarm systems
- administers Stat Check System
- performs periodic interior building rounds to ensure security
- processes work orders and manages office equipment and supplies
- delivers courteous service to residents, guests and co-workers
- handles resident emergencies in absence of Resident Services Director
- performs other duties as assigned
