Job Description
PruittHealth is a leading provider of senior living and healthcare services, dedicated to creating compassionate and supportive environments for residents in assisted living communities. Known for its commitment to quality care and enriching the lives of seniors, PruittHealth combines professional expertise with a family-oriented philosophy that underscores its motto: Family Makes Us Stronger. Our approach is centered around love, giving, and caring, fostering a community where residents, families, and staff feel united in making a meaningful difference. As an employer, PruittHealth emphasizes respect, diversity, and inclusiveness, ensuring equitable opportunities for all qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
The Concierge role at PruittHealth is a vital position that serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, guests, and vendors within an assisted living community. This role is designed for individuals who excel in customer service and administrative support, creating a warm, welcoming, and safe atmosphere that significantly contributes to the overall living experience. Responsibilities include managing all front desk operations such as answering phones, addressing inquiries, directing calls, and maintaining security protocols related to visitor access. The Concierge is also responsible for assisting residents with everyday needs, including scheduling transportation, appointment reminders, and providing relevant information, while coordinating efforts with other departments like maintenance, housekeeping, and dining to ensure smooth service delivery.
Beyond administrative functions, the Concierge supports community programming and event coordination, contributing to a vibrant social environment. This role demands a high level of professionalism, interpersonal skills, and the ability to remain composed in emergency situations, following established facility protocols. A strong emphasis is placed on confidentiality and respecting resident privacy at all times, reflecting PruittHealth's commitment to ethical standards and care excellence.
Candidates for the Concierge position should possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree preferred, and have at least one year of customer service or administrative experience, ideally within senior living, hospitality, or healthcare settings. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, basic office equipment, and knowledge of HIPAA and elder care standards are advantageous. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
