  • minimum of 2 years hospitality or related work experience preferred
  • proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • good organizational skills

  • ability to work irregular hours, weekends, and evenings

Job Duties

  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
  • resolve customer complaints
  • assist customers in all inquiries related to hotel services, hours of operation, key personnel, in-house events, and directions
  • respond to all guest requests accurately and promptly making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices
  • process packages, faxes, messages, and mail accurately and in a timely manner
  • work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
  • ensure desk collateral and information for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and current
  • maintain knowledge of available activities in the city including theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, and sightseeing
  • establish close contacts with vendors to provide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests
  • store and retrieve guest luggage and packages
  • utilize software programs to input special guest arrangements and assure proper billing
  • perform front desk receptionist duties when required
