Job Description
The hiring organization is a community-focused establishment dedicated to providing excellent services and support to its residents and visitors. With a strong commitment to creating a welcoming and professional environment, this company emphasizes maintaining exceptional public relations and ensuring smooth administrative operations. The community operates in a setting where respect, care, and enthusiasm are core values that guide every interaction with residents, their families, and staff members. This position is part-time, specifically requiring availability every other weekend from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., as well as additional hours as needed for coverage. The pay rate for this role ranges between $16 and $17 per hour, reflecting the organization's recognition of the importance and responsibility of the Concierge role. The Concierge acts as the front line and public face of the community, being the first point of contact for external stakeholders, including guests, visitors, and vendors. This role requires a courteous and professional demeanor as it significantly impacts the community's image and visitor experience. The Concierge collaborates closely with the Community Leadership Team to help the community run smoothly through supporting administrative activities and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This involves varied tasks such as welcoming visitors, handling multi-line telephone systems, managing correspondence, and providing essential information to both prospective and current residents. The role demands excellent interpersonal communication, a genuine interest in people—particularly the geriatric population—and the ability to remain calm and responsible in emergency situations. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an understanding of confidentiality protocols related to resident information are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, follow instructions precisely, and engage positively with all levels of management, staff, and outside contacts. Beyond the administrative duties, the Concierge is expected to embody the company’s core values as a Culture Ambassador, promoting a spirit of cooperation, ownership, respect, and enthusiasm throughout the community. The successful candidate will help foster a culture that cares about people, acts with integrity, celebrates achievements, and encourages open communication. Overall, this position offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a supportive community environment while gaining valuable experience in public interaction and administrative support within a caring setting.
