The Concierge position at Oakmont of Santa Clarita plays a vital role in enhancing the resident and visitor experience. This part-time role, scheduled on weekend mornings from 8 am to 3 pm, offers a competitive pay range of $18.50 to $19.50 per hour. The Concierge serves as the first point of contact, welcoming guests and residents with warmth and professionalism. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, fulfilling resident requests, arranging property tours, handling multi-line telephone systems, and providing clerical support to the administrative staff.
This role demands strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The Concierge ensures smooth communication within the community by answering phones promptly, directing calls efficiently, and managing the business center including incoming and outgoing mail. The position also involves monitoring the Emergency Alert System and responding immediately to any calls, maintaining high safety standards for residents, guests, and staff.
Candidates for the Concierge role are expected to possess excellent communication skills and proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel. Experience in hospitality or senior living communities is preferred, with an emphasis on teamwork and cooperative interaction across departments. The company requires that all team members pass a criminal background check and health screenings, including physical and tuberculosis tests. Additionally, in response to ongoing health challenges such as COVID-19, team members may need to comply with vaccination mandates, participate in daily screenings and surveillance testing, and use personal protective equipment as per regulatory guidelines.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community
- must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests
- able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs
- possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- comply with vaccination, screening, and PPE requirements as per company policy and regulatory guidelines

Job Duties
- Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service
