Buckner Retirement Services Community: The Stayton at Museum Way, by Buckner, is located in Fort Worth, TX, at 2501 Museum Way. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Concierge to join our team at The Stayton at Museum Way. This role is an internal opening, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to resident satisfaction by serving as a vital link between residents, guests, and the community. The Concierge position is key in ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and service are consistently met or exceeded. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for coordinating hospitality service activities such as resident communications, event planning, guest reception, and problem-solving to address any resident or guest needs or concerns. You will manage the organization of communications and reference systems at the concierge desk, including vital emergency vendor information and resident census details to maintain effective community communication.
Additionally, this role serves as the primary liaison with new residents at move-in, helping them to assimilate smoothly into community life. The Concierge assists residents and associates with maintenance work orders by accurately processing requests and following up to ensure timely resolution. Participation in resident activities and social groups is also a key part of the role, contributing to building and maintaining strong relationships among the community population. The Concierge leads welcoming initiatives for new residents, providing tours, staff introductions, information about dining services, business office functions, amenities, and concierge services. This role demands excellent communication, organizational skills, and a genuine passion for enriching the lives of seniors through supportive service and hospitality. Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum one-year related experience
- Ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 pounds of force continuously to move objects and/or people
- Ability to walk, stand and sit, sometimes for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to turn, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, stand and walk

Job Duties
- Coordinate hospitality service activities including general resident communications, guest reception, event planning, and problem solving any resident and guest needs or concerns
- Establish and maintain organized communications and reference systems at each concierge desk including rolodex, emergency vendor information, resident census, and all other systems necessary for effective community communications
- Serve as liaison with new resident upon move-in
- Act as liaison between resident with community by providing direction and assistance in resolving concerns, channeling concerns to the appropriate administrative or person, and conducting follow up as needed to ensure resolution
- Assist residents and associates with maintenance work orders by timely completing work order request and following up with maintenance team as needed on resolution
- Participate in various resident events and social groups to build and maintain relationships with community population
- Coordinate and lead the resident welcoming to provide social support to new residents
- Introduce new resident to community life through personal tours and building orientation, staff introductions, navigating the dining room, functions of the business office, and orientation to general amenities and services including concierge services
