The role available is a front-of-house or community assistant position responsible for being the warm and welcoming first point of contact for residents, guests, prospective residents, families, and vendors. This position involves providing general assistance within the community, ensuring safety and security by monitoring surveillance systems and alarms, processing reports regarding incidents and work orders, and managing package and deliveries such as prescription drugs and plants. Responsibilities also include maintaining logs for key and gate pass issuance, assisting other departments with administrative tasks, and addressing resident and family concerns with timely and professional follow-up. The position requires maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor and exhibiting strong customer service skills to ensure high levels of satisfaction among residents and visitors. Job Duties
- Greet residents and provide general assistance to visitors, prospective residents, and families
- answer telephone calls
- monitor surveillance cameras, door alarms, life safety systems, and building alarms to ensure safety
- investigate any unusual activity
- process reports such as work orders, incidents, and concerns
- receive and deliver or hold packages, plants, prescription drugs, etc.
- maintain sign in/out log for community keys and gate passes
- assist other departments with administrative functions
- ensure resident, family, and employee concerns receive timely response and follow-up
- maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, and co-workers
