This part-time position, primarily on weekends with shifts on Saturday from 8am to 8pm, seeks a Front Desk Associate to provide exceptional customer service while supporting the daily operations of the community. This role acts as the first point of contact for visitors and residents, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment that reflects Dial’s commitment to care and professionalism. The Front Desk Associate is responsible for assisting residents and their families with requests such as transportation, reservations, and general information, along with handling communication across departments. Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and a professional demeanor are essential to succeed in this position.   • Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • Welcome all guests warmly, determine nature of business, assist with sign-in procedure, and announce guest to appropriate personnel or resident
  • Assist residents and/or families with requests for transportation, reservations, and general information
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
  • Respond to emergency situations and serve as the point of contact in all emergency situations
  • Monitor lobby and common areas to ensure safety and promote a positive environment
  • Maintain reservations and schedule for guest suites, clubhouse, and private dining
  • Receive mail and packages and ensure accurate and timely distribution
  • Update and maintain resident/family emergency list and contact information
  • Receive requests for maintenance and housekeeping services
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, organizing, typing, data entry, envelope stuffing, addressing, or stamping
  • Help promote community events and activities to residents and guests
  • Notify supervisor when items need to be ordered, received, and maintain office supply list
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and community information
  • Report on-the-job injuries to supervisor before the end of the work shift
  • Other duties as assigned
