The Concierge role at Oakmont of El Dorado Hills is a full-time position offering an hourly wage between $17 and $18. This role is vital in creating a welcoming and professional first impression for residents, guests, and visitors. The Concierge is responsible for greeting visitors warmly, fulfilling resident requests, arranging property tours, answering multi-line telephone calls, and providing clerical support to administrative staff. This position requires a strong commitment to exceptional customer service and represents the face of the community, requiring clear communication skills and a compassionate demeanor, aligned with the company’s mission and values. The Concierge also plays a critical part in maintaining safety by monitoring the Emergency Alert System and responding promptly to calls. Additional responsibilities include managing the business center and processing all incoming and outgoing mail, while encouraging teamwork through cooperative interaction with coworkers and other departments. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community
  • excellent customer service skills
  • proficient in MS Office programs
  • effective written and verbal communication skills
  • must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests
  • comply with vaccination and PPE policies to prevent communicable diseases

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community
  • excellent customer service skills
  • able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
  • must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests
  • comply with vaccination, screening, and PPE policies to prevent the spread of COVID-19 or other communicable diseases as required

Job Duties

  • Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service
  • answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner
  • monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call
  • effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail
  • maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
  • encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
