The Concierge position at Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa is an integral part of the VIP and Guest Experience Team. This role is designed for individuals who excel at delivering the highest level of customer service, ensuring that guests' requests are met swiftly and professionally. The concierge is responsible for assisting guests by making special arrangements such as transportation, dining reservations, and local activity planning, while also providing detailed and accurate information to enhance their overall stay. The position requires close collaboration with the Lead Concierge, VIP leader, and management to align guest services with occupancy schedules and operational demands. The Concierge must embody style, warmth, and attentiveness to foster a positive and lasting impression on every guest. This role demands proficiency in handling guest communications via telephone and software systems such as Alice and Opera for logging requests. Additionally, the concierge must maintain a thorough knowledge of the property, the Hyatt brand, and the World of Hyatt loyalty program. Key responsibilities also include monitoring food and beverage outlets, ensuring the concierge desk and lobby areas are pristine and organized, and providing frontline assistance when necessary. Job Requirements

Diploma in hospitality or tourism management or relevant field
Ability to speak a second language fluently is an asset
Good working knowledge of Reserve and Opera software is an asset
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, overnight shifts
Physically agile and able to stand or walk for long periods
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent problem solving skills
Well-groomed and professional appearance

Job Duties

Assist with responding to guest requests for special arrangements or services such as transportation, dining reservations, local activities by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers
Respond to special requests with unique needs and follow up with the guest or vendor to ensure satisfaction
Accurately enter all guest requests and necessary information in Alice and Opera
Monitor food and beverage outlets for seating availability, service, and overall feel of the area
Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests
Provide gracious and efficient telephone service related to general PBX services
Review and note all special requests of guests
Assist with the completion of all items on the daily checklist
Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments and personnel
Provide assistance to the front desk when needed
Ensure the concierge desk and lobby are clean, organized, and tidy
Maintain complete knowledge of the property, brand, and World of Hyatt program
Perform all other related duties as required
