The position of Concierge at New Perspective Senior Living is a critical role that embodies the company’s commitment to exceptional hospitality and customer service. This part-time role, scheduled from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and some weekends, offers a unique opportunity for compassionate and dedicated individuals to serve as the first point of contact within the community. The Concierge acts as the hospitality ambassador, setting a welcoming tone and ensuring all residents, visitors, and team members feel valued and cared for. Beyond greeting and assisting guests, the Concierge provides essential business office support, including answering phone calls with a friendly demeanor, processing mail, managing clerical duties, and directing visitors appropriately. This position is vital in maintaining an attractive and engaging environment that supports socialization, purposeful living, and resident engagement.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency preferred
ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
demonstrated computer skills and ability to interact with a variety of electronic devices
ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing using the English language
ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
empathy for the challenges experienced by residents, families and team members and the problem-solving skill sets to support them

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Answers incoming calls with a smile and provides routine information to callers
records messages and screens and routes calls to appropriate destinations
performs general clerical functions including typing, memos, filing, processing facility mail
operates general office equipment
screens and directs all visitors
communicates and interacts with guests, residents, families and team members in a kind, respectful and effective way
champions hospitality and delivers excellent customer service to residents, families, visitors and vendors
ensures that an attractive home environment exists at all times with a milieu that fosters engagement, socialization and purposeful living
