We are currently seeking a Weekend Concierge to join our team in a part-time capacity with working hours from 10am to 8:30pm. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and organized environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The Weekend Concierge acts as the first point of contact, responsible for greeting guests, answering inquiries, managing incoming calls, and facilitating communication within the community. This position does not require prior experience as on-the-job training is provided, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals who enjoy customer service and desire a meaningful role in elder care. Responsibilities include handling phone and reception duties, taking and distributing messages, managing appointment schedules, and maintaining various informational logs and resident forms. The Concierge also supports the marketing department by organizing brochures and assists dining staff with meal ticket preparation and tallying meal counts.
This position offers a unique blend of administrative and interpersonal tasks, requiring strong organizational skills and a friendly demeanor. The role is critical in maintaining a professional atmosphere and ensuring the smooth operation of the community’s front desk and entry areas. Job Duties
- Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required
- takes complete messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the intended recipient
- greets residents and visitors
- answers inquiries and gives directions
- collates brochures for the marketing department
- prepares meal tickets for team members and family members, tallies meal count sheets for the dining staff
- updates the resident phone list and roster and move-in and move-out register daily
- guest and sign-in logs as necessary
- manages appointments for residents and family members such as but not limited to hairdresser, transportation, etc.
- maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized
- organizes, distributes mail to residents, executive director and department coordinators
- maintains resident forms for miscellaneous credits
- maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures
- other duties as assigned
