The role of Concierge at Fleet Landing is an exciting opportunity for those who thrive in service-oriented positions within a vibrant senior living environment. This full-time position centers on assisting community members in obtaining desired services, providing essential information, and directing them to appropriate resources as needed. As the first point of contact within the community, the Concierge plays a vital role in greeting residents, guests, and staff with warmth and professionalism while maintaining the smooth flow of the lobby and building traffic. Responsibilities include managing mail distribution, supporting various administrative functions, and assisting with community events or tours. This role demands excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a dynamic setting, and a genuine passion for serving senior residents. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, business school certificate, or equivalent
  • previous experience creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets, graphs, and Word documents
  • familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, web-based documents and forms, and phone systems
  • preferred experience in hotel, hospital, continuing care retirement community, or other retirement community or hospitality environment

  • preferred experience in hotel, hospital, Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), or other retirement community or hospitality environment

Job Duties

  • Supervises lobby, monitors traffic in and out of the building, and greets residents, visitors, staff, contract workers, and vendors, directs them to the appropriate locations or services
  • receives, sorts, and distributes mail and packages, may also help direct delivery personnel to appropriate areas for package delivery when needed
  • maintains databases, such as the hurricane evacuation list, resident absence report, or health services census dashboard
  • provides administrative support for residents and staff, including copying, scanning, and sending faxes, to include business, personal, club, or resident council needs
  • may assist various departments and/or building managers by making copies, completing assigned checklist items for move-ins, typing letters, creating envelopes, mailing packets, directing prospective residents and family members, or coordinating tours
