The role of Concierge at Grand Living is a vital position aimed at enhancing the overall resident experience within the community. Reporting to the Business Office Manager, the Concierge acts as the first point of contact for a broad range of support and administrative needs. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills and a hospitable attitude to ensure every resident interaction is characterized by The Sterling Touch®, a service standard emphasizing friendliness, courtesy, helpfulness, timeliness, and professionalism. The Concierge manages multiple responsibilities including clerical tasks, activity coordination, requests management, correspondence distribution, telephone call routing, and welcoming visitors, guests, residents, and team members. The position demands a commitment to upholding the community’s exceptional service standards while maintaining seamless communication and operational efficiency. Beyond administrative duties, the Concierge fosters a warm, secure, and enjoyable environment that promotes resident satisfaction and well-being. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • customer service experience in senior housing preferred
  • ability to read, write and understand English
  • ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull without extended sitting
  • ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds and push or pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds
  • reliable and punctual
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to maintain professionalism

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • customer service experience in senior housing preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • ability to work collaboratively with team members and residents
  • familiarity with clerical and administrative tasks
  • knowledge of senior living hospitality industry is a plus

Job Duties

  • serve as first point of contact for residents and guests
  • perform clerical tasks including managing correspondence and directing phone calls
  • coordinate community activities and resident requests
  • interact courteously and professionally with residents, visitors, and team members
  • assist with administrative support under the direction of the Business Office Manager
  • ensure high resident satisfaction through The Sterling Touch® service
  • maintain community standards, processes and procedures
