The Four Seasons Hotel Miami is currently seeking a dedicated Concierge who shares their passion for excellence and hospitality. This role is vital in ensuring guests enjoy an elevated and personalized experience from the moment they arrive through to their departure. The Concierge will serve as a knowledgeable and engaging representative of the hotel, assisting guests with a wide variety of requests, offering local recommendations, and ensuring a seamless and memorable stay.

The position requires accuracy, professionalism, and a warm, welcoming demeanor, as well as the ability to anticipate guest needs and respond efficiently. The Concierge will handle guest inquiries related to hotel services, events, directions, and local attractions while maintaining a courteous and professional atmosphere. They will also handle logistical tasks such as processing guest packages, mail, and communications, and utilize various software applications to manage guest arrangements and billing accurately.

Applicants must hold valid work authorization for the United States to be considered. This full-time position demands flexibility to work all shifts, including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays. Physical requirements include the ability to lift, push, pull, and carry luggage and packages up to 50 pounds, along with the need for mobility throughout the hotel and continuous standing throughout the shift.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work all shifts including ams, pms, weekends, and holidays
  • some lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying required of luggage, packages, and boxes up to 50 lbs carried a distance of up to 20 feet
  • bending and kneeling required with full range of motion to retrieve guest luggage and other materials
  • mobile position requiring movement behind the desk, within the hotel, and to/from the storage room
  • continuous standing for entire shift

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hospitality or concierge role preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong knowledge of local attractions, events, and services
  • ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • proficiency with reservation and property management software
  • fluency in English
  • valid work authorization for the United States
  • physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

Job Duties

  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
  • resolve customer complaints
  • assist customers in all inquiries related to hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, and directions
  • respond to all guest requests accurately and timely with personalized recommendations
  • process packages, faxes, messages, and mail for guests
  • comply with Four Seasons’ work rules and standards of conduct
  • maintain updated desk collateral and information for local restaurants, museums, attractions, and other points of interest
  • establish and maintain contacts with local vendors for tickets and reservations
  • store and retrieve guest luggage and packages
  • utilize various software programs to input special guest arrangements and ensure proper billing
