The organization's mission revolves around serving the community with excellence, integrity, and compassion, making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families. With a focus on patient-first care, Cottage Health prides itself on helping patients return to their daily lives and loved environments.

The Concierge role within the Customer Care department at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is a vital position dedicated to fostering a culture of safety, service excellence, and genuine hospitality. They provide essential support by directing visitors and patients to the appropriate service lines or admitting staff, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience. Beyond these frontline responsibilities, the Concierge contributes to enhancing the overall guest experience through participation in specialized service programs such as Benefactor/Special Guest, The Little Cottages, Sleep Room Program, and Loan Out Program. This role requires a professional who is personable, attentive, and skilled at creating an environment where guests feel valued and cared for.

This position requires individuals with at least two years of front-of-house or guest service-related experience, with a preference for those who have worked in high-end service environments like four-diamond properties. Knowledge of medical terminology, hospital services, and insurance coverage is highly advantageous, alongside bilingual abilities. The role demands excellent communication, hospitality, and organizational skills to maintain the reputation of Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital as a center of service excellence and compassionate care.

Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion. The organization is committed to providing discrimination-free hiring practices and strives to create a workplace where all employees feel a sense of belonging and support. The hospital offers competitive pay based on experience and internal equity, along with additional compensation opportunities such as shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonuses where applicable. This comprehensive package reflects Cottage Health's recognition of its employees' hard work and dedication. Potential candidates who are already part of Cottage Health are encouraged to apply through designated internal channels.
