Job Description

Waltonwood is a distinguished community management company dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for seniors in a warm and welcoming environment. Known for its comprehensive approach to senior care and community engagement, Waltonwood focuses on creating vibrant neighborhoods where residents feel valued, comfortable, and well-supported. The company operates multiple communities that emphasize personalized services, hospitality, and a holistic approach to overall wellness. As part of a large, growing network of residential communities, Waltonwood balances personalized care with professional excellence, promoting an environment where every resident's needs are thoughtfully addressed and their quality of life continuously enhanced.

This role is for a Concierge to join Waltonwood's Administrative team, an essential group committed to ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of each community managed by the company. As the first and last impression in the community, the Concierge serves as a vital point of contact for residents, visitors, and staff alike. This position requires a professional, courteous, and outgoing individual capable of delivering top-tier customer service and hospitality across all interactions. The Concierge greets and directs residents and guests, answers incoming calls professionally, and efficiently manages day-to-day inquiries and requests.

In addition to customer interaction, the Concierge provides critical administrative and clerical support, assisting the Business Office Manager, Department Heads, and Executive Director as directed. Key responsibilities include maintaining resident rosters, collecting daily charges such as meal tickets or general store fees, and applying safety, security, and emergency procedures rigorously to ensure the well-being of all community members. This role is pivotal in fostering a warm, friendly atmosphere where residents feel at home and staff work cohesively. With an emphasis on empathy, compassion, and communication, the Concierge is also known as the social center of the community, building meaningful bonds through daily positive interactions.

The position operates during third shift hours (11 pm to 7 am), offering candidates a unique opportunity to work in a critical time frame when community safety, security, and comfort must be continuously maintained. Waltonwood values teamwork and dependability, expecting all associates to be punctual, present, and ready to support their colleagues and community members proactively. The company culture encourages employees to stay upbeat, exhibit dedicated customer service, and follow through on responsibilities for the benefit of the residents and the overall community. This position is ideally suited for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of seniors. Waltonwood offers a rewarding work environment that not only values professional skills but also the compassionate spirit essential to senior living communities.
