The role of Concierge at Starwood Hotels is a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering excellence and elevating the guest experience. Concierges at Starwood Hotels are responsible for maintaining an updated database of city information, sharing first-hand knowledge, and coordinating important arrangements like theatre tickets, sporting events, dining reservations, and limousine transportation. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a customer service or concierge role preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide guests access to all the city has to offer within scope of availability
  • create special conversations with guests to identify and record personal preferences
  • share in-depth knowledge of directions, travel time, cost and transportation options
  • maintain an updated database of city highlights
  • demonstrate and share thorough research-based recommendations
  • anticipate guest needs to ensure successful experiences
  • be knowledgeable of all in-house and arriving guests
  • arrange tickets for theatre, sporting events and local attractions
  • make and confirm transportation arrangements with the limousine company
  • handle package delivery and pickup for guests
  • assist guests with mail, messages and plans
  • provide confirmations for dining, transportation and theatre reservations
  • communicate important details to leadership and colleagues
  • maintain a clean and organized work area
  • attend daily front office rallies and review communications for hotel updates
  • assist guests with PMS questions, arrivals and departures to prevent lobby queueing
  • train new or existing concierge team members
  • perform additional duties as requested by leadership
