The Concierge position at Albertsons Companies Inc. is a dynamic and multifaceted role centered around catering and event coordination. Job Requirements

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • have one or more years of culinary, catering, hospitality, and/or event planning experience
  • be motivated by traveling to new places for events and gatherings
  • take pride in your work
  • enjoy a team-based fast-paced environment
  • agree that food is central to life
  • possess or obtain required food handler's permits and/or food safety certifications
  • be committed to community involvement

Job Qualifications

  • One or more years of culinary, catering, hospitality, and/or event planning experience
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
  • passion for food and customer service
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • willingness to travel for events
  • food handler's permits and/or food safety certifications (current or in progress)

Job Duties

  • Acknowledge and engage customers entering the department
  • use expertise in food and food pairings to assist customers with catering and event needs
  • coordinate orders with other departments
  • work with event staff to ensure event setup and execution
  • manage end-to-end catering coordination
  • travel to event locations as required
  • maintain a team-based approach in a fast-paced environment
