Job Description
Cambridge Real Estate Services is a reputable property management company specializing in managing multi-family housing developments across the Western United States. Their comprehensive portfolio includes affordable housing, conventional communities, and historic properties. With a team of dedicated property management and maintenance professionals, Cambridge Real Estate Services emphasizes exceeding resident and community expectations by providing high-quality, responsive service. The company operates with a commitment to diversity and equal opportunity employment, ensuring a supportive and inclusive workplace environment for all employees regardless of race, color, sex, national origin, age, religion, marital status, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.
This position is part-time, requiring 28 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, including 2-3 evening shifts finishing at 9 PM. The role involves operating a company vehicle to transport residents to and from appointments and scheduled activities, ensuring their comfort and safety during transit. It also encompasses providing business office services in a professional, compassionate, and caring manner, serving as a key point of contact for residents, their families, and visitors. The position demands oversight of the community, timely response to emergencies, and diligent follow-through on resident and building issues to maintain a well-functioning and welcoming community environment. This includes greeting visitors and family members warmly, answering telephone calls promptly, handling office duties such as copying and stocking supplies, and managing maintenance request forms efficiently.
Additionally, the person in this role will sell postage stamps, provide community tours, and resolve minor maintenance problems as directed. Supporting the Executive Director and Business Office Manager with administrative tasks is also an essential part of the job. The role is suited for candidates who demonstrate a warm, caring nature with a genuine interest in working with older adults and who can maintain a neat appearance while communicating effectively with residents and staff. This position offers a pay range of $19 to $22 per hour and requires valid driver licensing due to the transportation component of the job. Applicants must also complete a pre-employment screening process, including criminal history and drug screening, to ensure a safe and professional community environment.
