Job Description
Sunrise Senior Living is a renowned provider of senior living services, dedicated to enhancing the lives of its residents through compassionate care and exceptional service. With a strong commitment to creating communities where seniors can live longer, healthier, and happier lives, Sunrise Senior Living is recognized as a Great Place to Work®, an accolade it has proudly received nine times, underscoring its outstanding workplace culture and dedication to employee satisfaction. The company operates numerous senior living communities, including Sunrise of Baton Rouge, which exemplifies the brand's mission and values on a local scale. As a part of the Sunrise family, team members contribute to a supportive and collaborative environment that not only benefits residents but also fosters personal and professional growth.
The Concierge role at Sunrise Senior Living is a critical position that acts as the initial point of contact and first impression for prospective residents, families, and visitors. This role involves a variety of responsibilities centered around customer service, administrative support, safety, and community engagement. The Concierge is tasked with greeting guests warmly, managing incoming calls with professionalism, and facilitating communication across departments. This position also supports the Director of Sales (DOS) and Executive Director (ED) by assisting in the recruitment process, handling community inquiries, and managing general administrative duties. Maintaining the ambiance and cleanliness of the Bistro and front desk area is also an essential part of the job, ensuring that the community feels welcoming and comfortable.
This opportunity offers engagement in meaningful work where one can make a direct impact on the lives of seniors by supporting a safe and positive environment. The Concierge contributes to the overall mission by promoting safety protocols, managing resident and visitor interaction, and assisting with sales and marketing activities, such as preparing move-in materials and ordering flowers for new residents. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are central to managing appointments, handling special requests, and keeping accurate records. The role requires active participation in team meetings, ongoing training, and safety programs, reflecting Sunrise's commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.
Sunrise Senior Living values employees who demonstrate empathy, reliability, and a commitment to excellence. The Concierge position is ideal for individuals who enjoy multifaceted roles that combine interpersonal interaction with operational tasks. This employment opportunity includes competitive compensation aligned with geographic location, qualifications, and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and additional perks like early pay access through myFlexPay. Also, bonuses may be offered based on performance and position-specific criteria.
Joining Sunrise Senior Living means becoming part of a team that celebrates diversity and inclusion, fosters professional development, and encourages each member to shine individually and collectively. The community prioritizes the health and safety of residents and staff, with pre-employment health screenings and possible vaccination requirements in place. If you are passionate about making a difference in senior living and eager to contribute to a respected and supportive workplace, applying for the Concierge role at Sunrise Senior Living is an excellent step forward in your career journey.
