Spectrum Retirement Communities focuses on delivering high-quality care and support to older adults, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. The organization values employees who bring dedication, a caring spirit, and a strong work ethic, making it an ideal workplace for those passionate about senior care and community service.
The Front Desk Receptionist role at Spectrum Retirement Communities is a vital part of the team, serving as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and family members. This position involves greeting and assisting visitors in a friendly and professional manner, managing incoming phone calls, and responding promptly to questions and concerns. The Front Desk Receptionist will also handle emergency situations appropriately, helping to ensure the safety and security of the community. In addition to interpersonal responsibilities, this role includes maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front lobby and entrance areas. The schedule requires working every other weekend and some evening shifts, reflecting the commitment to providing consistent and reliable service to the community.
This role requires a candidate who is self-motivated, organized, and professional, capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting effectively with potential residents, current residents, family members, and team members. Experience in an office environment, customer service, or phone handling is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required. The ability to use technology proficiently is also important to support daily operations.
Spectrum Retirement Communities offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time team members, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options. Employees also have access to voluntary insurance coverages, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, paid time off, holiday pay, Daily Pay options, and employee discounts through Perk Spot. The company encourages COVID-19 vaccination but does not make it a requirement, emphasizing a respectful and inclusive workplace.
As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Spectrum Retirement Communities is committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring all employment decisions are based on merit and without discrimination. The company also participates in the E-verify program to verify the eligibility of employees to work in the United States.
