Milestone’s communities are designed to provide compassionate care and an exceptional quality of life to older adults, ensuring they feel supported, respected, and engaged every day. With a focus on innovation and personalized service, Milestone continues to set new standards for senior living through its commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
This opportunity is for the role of an On Call Concierge (Receptionist) within one of Milestone’s communities. As the first point of contact, the Concierge plays a critical role in shaping the residents' and visitors’ experience by providing warm, professional, and efficient customer service. This part-time or on-call employment position offers a unique chance to contribute meaningfully to a vibrant community environment. The Concierge is responsible for managing the lobby area and supporting key functions across sales, marketing, and the business office. The position requires excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and a genuine passion for assisting older adults. This role is well-suited to someone resourceful and organized who enjoys engaging with people and being part of a team committed to delivering high-quality care and service.
The Concierge’s responsibilities are diverse, ranging from greeting and supporting residents and visitors, answering and properly routing phone calls, to assisting with marketing tours and managing resident documentation. Their efforts directly contribute to the community’s smooth operation and positive atmosphere. This position also demands an awareness of reporting requirements, including elder maltreatment or abuse, ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents. Alongside these duties, the Concierge supports the broader community activities, encouraging resident involvement to foster a lively and supportive environment.
At Milestone, employees enjoy numerous perks and benefits such as comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time staff, participation in a 401(k) plan with employer match, generous paid time off, pet insurance, employee assistance programs, and a range of voluntary benefits. The organization is dedicated to creating an inclusive and welcoming workplace that values diversity and promotes career growth. Those who join Milestone become part of a dynamic team focused on enriching the lives of seniors through compassionate and professional service. Joining Milestone as an On Call Concierge offers a fulfilling career path with opportunities to make a tangible impact in senior living, leveraging both interpersonal skills and administrative capabilities in a supportive setting.
