Job Description
Sagora is a leading provider of senior living communities specializing in independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Known for putting residents first, Sagora creates environments that emphasize community, compassion, and quality of life. With a culture built on the core values of commitment, empowerment, communication, excellence, and teamwork, Sagora is dedicated to fostering a workplace where team members feel valued and supported. The company prides itself on being a Great Place to Work, as confirmed by their team member surveys. Sagora invests in the growth and career advancement of its employees by offering opportunities for upward mobility within the organization. The name Sagora is inspired by the words "Sage," representing wisdom, and "Agora," referring to a gathering place, symbolizing the communities as places where wisdom is shared and cherished.
The Concierge role at Sagora is a vital frontline position that plays a significant role in shaping the first impression of the community for residents, their families, and visitors. The Concierge serves as the welcoming face of the community, greeting guests both in person and over the phone with warmth and professionalism. This position requires balancing multiple responsibilities such as managing the reception area, ensuring effective telephone and email communications, and maintaining a clean and orderly lobby. The Concierge also provides essential information accurately to residents and visitors, assists associates when needed at the front desk, and ensures the security of the community through rounds and responding to emergency boards. This full-time role, based at the Ansel Park Independent Living community, operates on a Friday through Monday shift schedule, with pay starting between $18.02 and $22.33 per hour. Sagora emphasizes respect, confidentiality, and integrity in all interactions, making the Concierge role a critical component in upholding the community's professional image and nurturing lasting relationships with residents. This is more than just a job; it's a chance to become part of a supportive team environment where every team member matters, and every interaction contributes to making the community a true gathering place of wisdom.
