The role available is for a part-time, weeknight and weekend Concierge position, offering 25 hours per week with scheduled shifts on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and efficient environment within the community. The Concierge acts as the first point of contact for guests, residents, and employees, managing telephone communications and providing information and support.

The Concierge’s duties include answering incoming calls, taking detailed messages, greeting residents and visitors, assisting with inquiries, and providing directions. The role also supports the marketing department by organizing brochures and prepares meal tickets for team members and family members. Additional responsibilities involve maintaining accurate records such as the Resident Phone List, Roster, Move-In and Move-Out Register, as well as managing appointment scheduling for residents and their families. Maintaining a neat and orderly reception area alongside organizing and distributing mail also falls under the Concierge’s purview.

This position requires a high level of professionalism, organizational skills, and a friendly demeanor, as the Concierge plays a pivotal role in facilitating smooth communication and enhancing the overall resident experience. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

Job Duties

  • Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required
  • takes complete messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the intended recipient
  • greets residents and visitors
  • answers inquiries and gives directions
  • collates brochures for the marketing department
  • prepares meal tickets for team members and family members, tallies meal count sheets for the dining staff
  • updates the Resident Phone List and Roster and Move-In and Move-Out Register daily, Guest and Sign-In Logs as necessary
  • manages appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser, transportation, etc
  • maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized
  • organizes and distributes mail to residents, Executive Director and Department Coordinators
  • maintains resident forms for miscellaneous credits
  • maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures
  • other duties as assigned
