Job Description
Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider in the senior living industry, dedicated to empowering residents to live longer, healthier, and happier lives through compassionate care and supportive services. The company is widely recognized for its outstanding workplace culture, having been certified as a Great Place to Work® for the ninth time by Activated Insights. This recognition highlights Sunrise Senior Living's commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative environment for its team members. Sunrise operates vibrant communities designed to meet the diverse needs of older adults, offering personalized care plans, engaging activities, and amenities that promote wellbeing and social connections.
At Sunrise of Lafayette Hill, the Concierge plays a vital role as the first point of contact and the welcoming face of the community. This position is responsible for greeting potential residents, their families, and visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring they feel valued and informed from the moment they arrive. The Concierge manages incoming calls both from outside and within the community, relays messages accurately, and provides clear communication regarding community events and services, supporting the efforts of the Director of Sales and the Executive Director.
Beyond greeting visitors and handling communications, the Concierge assists with various administrative duties critical to the smooth operation of the community. These include supporting recruitment efforts by capturing candidate information, maintaining marketing and move-in packet inventories, monitoring the Bistro area to provide a pleasant atmosphere, and managing appointment schedules for residents and their families. The role requires a proactive approach to risk management, partnering with the community team to uphold safety protocols, emergency preparedness, and resident security standards.
The Concierge also supports sales and marketing initiatives by processing and tracking inquiries, ordering flowers and guest meals for move-ins, and contributing to customer relationship management databases. In addition, the position manages administrative functions such as updating resident rosters, distributing mail and newspapers, handling meal tickets, and ensuring office supplies are stocked. This role contributes significantly to team success by embodying the principles of service, participating in training and engagement programs, and fostering a positive community culture.
Sunrise Senior Living offers competitive compensation that reflects geographic location, experience, skills, and qualifications. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans, retirement savings options, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and innovative programs like myFlexPay which allows team members to access pay shortly after their shifts. Employment at Sunrise is contingent upon successful pre-employment health and safety screenings, including vaccinations as required by law.
Joining Sunrise means becoming part of a passionate team dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors and their families. The Concierge position at Sunrise of Lafayette Hill represents a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships, deliver exceptional service, and contribute to a workplace that truly shines with purpose and heart.
