Job Description

MBK Senior Living is a highly respected provider of senior living communities in the Western United States, boasting over 30 years of experience in delivering exceptional care and services, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. The company operates 35 communities and is proud to be recognized as one of the Top 50 "Best Workplaces in Aging Services" by Fortune magazine and certified as a "Great Place to Work" since 2017. Focused on a people-first philosophy, MBK Senior Living’s mission is to enrich lives and exceed expectations through a concept called Yoi Shigoto, a Japanese principle meaning "good, quality work." This commitment drives all team members to build trust, maintain high standards, and develop both personally and professionally within a supportive and thriving community environment.

This part-time Concierge role at MBK Senior Living is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, customer service, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and their families. Scheduled for weekends, the position offers flexibility with Saturday shifts from 12pm to 8pm and Sunday shifts from 3pm to 8pm, and it provides a competitive pay range of $18.50 to $19.00 per hour. The Concierge serves as the essential first point of contact, tasked with creating warm, welcoming impressions for residents, families, visitors, and potential new community members.

Conscientious and service-oriented, the Concierge acts as an ambassador of the MBK brand, ensuring that every interaction reflects the company’s core values and dedication to exceptional service. Responsibilities include greeting and engaging guests in a friendly manner, skillfully supporting the sales process through enhancing visitor experiences, handling incoming communications professionally, and actively supporting residents and their families by coordinating departmental assistance. Furthermore, the Concierge manages essential operational duties like mail distribution, message logging, reception area maintenance, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Ideal candidates should possess a positive, polished demeanor with a genuine passion for helping others. Competency in communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment. The role requires physical mobility to perform tasks that include bending, lifting, and walking, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents during routine and emergency situations. Full compliance with regulatory requirements, including background checks, health screenings, and legal mandates, is required.

MBK Senior Living offers a vibrant, energetic, and rewarding work environment where teamwork, professional development, and personal growth are prioritized. The company supports its employees with benefits such as health insurance, professional training programs, education loan assistance, financial and legal services, and team member discounts. Those seeking a career with purpose and meaningful impact will find MBK Senior Living to be not just a workplace, but a community committed to excellence and care.
