The Concierge role at SANTIANNA is a part-time position that requires flexible hours, including Sunday availability, with a pay range of $17.50 to $18.50 hourly. This position is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents, guests, and visitors by providing exceptional customer service and support. As the first point of contact, the Concierge is responsible for greeting visitors, responding promptly to resident requests, coordinating property tours, and handling multi-line telephone systems effectively. Additionally, the Concierge provides clerical support to the administrative staff, contributing to smooth community operations. Our team members at SANTIANNA play a vital role in maintaining a secure, safe, and comfortable environment, alongside promoting teamwork through cooperative interaction among all departments.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community
  • excellent customer service skills
  • able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
  • must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests
  • for the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines

Job Duties

  • Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service
  • answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner
  • monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call
  • effectively manage the business center and process incoming and outgoing mail
  • maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
  • encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
