Job Description
The Springs Living is a forward-thinking senior living community dedicated to transforming the experience of senior housing. With a clear mission to change how people perceive and engage with senior living, The Springs Living creates thoughtfully designed environments where residents not only live comfortably but also feel connected and supported by exceptional service. As a prominent provider in the senior care industry, The Springs Living emphasizes a welcoming and community-oriented atmosphere, ensuring every resident’s experience is meaningful and fulfilling. Their communities are built to foster social connections, provide comprehensive support, and maintain a high standard of living that respects the dignity and independence of every resident.
At The Springs at Sunnyside, one of the distinguished communities under The Springs Living umbrella, the role of the Receptionist is pivotal in setting the tone for all interactions within the community. This role is integral in shaping the daily experiences of residents, their families, guests, and staff. The Receptionist serves as the primary face of the community, responsible for greeting visitors warmly and ensuring a seamless flow of communication throughout the building. This position offers a dynamic and meaningful career path for those passionate about customer service and community involvement.
The role is typically full-time and focuses on creating a positive, organized, and secure environment at the front desk. Responsibilities revolve around welcoming residents and guests by name, answering and directing incoming communication, supporting various administrative functions, and maintaining front desk organization. Additionally, the Receptionist contributes to community safety by monitoring visitor access and adhering to established security protocols.
Ideal candidates for this role are personable, calm under pressure, and highly organized. With at least one year of customer service experience and preference for receptionist or concierge-related experience, applicants should be proficient in common office software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. The job also demands excellent multitasking capabilities, the ability to manage multiple calendars, and a genuine passion for working with seniors. This role values integrity and professionalism, supported by requirements such as passing a background check and drug screening.
Working at The Springs Living means joining a team that values long-term employee growth, offering comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance as well as retirement planning through a 401(k). Employees receive paid time off, flexible spending account options, career development opportunities, scholarship programs, and access to an employee assistance program.
Moreover, The Springs Living fosters a mission-driven culture where every role significantly contributes not only to the individual care of residents but also to the broader community impact. This culture ensures that employees find purpose and growth in their work, making the Receptionist position more than just an administrative role but a vital part of a compassionate and supportive senior living community.
