Job Description

Oakmont Gardens is a renowned senior living community located at 301 White Oak Drive, Santa Rosa, CA. Known for its commitment to care, connection, and community, Oakmont Gardens offers a warm, welcoming environment where seniors can enjoy a supportive and engaging lifestyle. The community prides itself on providing exceptional service and compassionate support to its residents and their families. This commitment extends to every aspect of its operation, especially at the front desk where the Concierge plays a pivotal role.

As a part-time Concierge at Oakmont Gardens, you will be the first smile residents, guests, and team members encounter—truly the heart of the front desk. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $19.00 per hour with a schedule focused on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts, making it ideal for individuals seeking meaningful part-time work in the hospitality and senior care field. The Concierge position is designed for friendly, organized multitaskers who have a passion for helping others and a dedication to delivering exceptional service in a warm and professional manner.

Your duties will include greeting residents, visitors, and team members with warmth and professionalism, answering and directing incoming calls with efficiency and courtesy, and assisting residents with inquiries, requests, and scheduling needs. Maintaining a clean, organized, and secure front desk and lobby area is essential to creating a welcoming environment. You will manage visitor logs, package deliveries, and community announcements, all while supporting the coordination of events, appointments, and transportation.

The Concierge also serves a critical role in responding to emergencies or resident alerts according to established protocols, ensuring the safety and well-being of all community members. Providing general administrative support to the management team is an additional component of this role, requiring attention to detail and efficient organizational skills.

This role goes beyond routine tasks—it is about embodying Oakmont Gardens' hospitality promises, which include greeting everyone warmly by name and with a smile, treating all with courteous respect, anticipating needs and responding promptly, always asking if there's anything else that can be done, and maintaining professionalism and attention to detail at all times. By joining Oakmont Gardens, you become part of a team that values connection, care, and community, and you have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day in the lives of seniors and their families. This position offers a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth, making it an ideal job for those who seek to bring kindness and order to every shift while building a rewarding career in senior living hospitality.
