Currently, The Delaney at Lake Waco is seeking a hospitality-focused Concierge to join its team. This part-time role is essential to the smooth operation of the community, serving as the first point of contact for residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers. The Concierge plays a vital role in setting the tone for visitors, ensuring that each interaction is warm, professional, and accommodating. The position demands a high level of dependability, flexibility, and a genuine passion for serving seniors. The Concierge must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, reflecting the community's commitment to round-the-clock care and service.
The Concierge’s responsibilities are diverse and pivotal to community operations. They are tasked with providing ongoing telephone coverage, addressing concerns and requests promptly and tactfully to ensure both organizational objectives and individual needs are met. They help maintain community security by monitoring front desk activities and adhering to established procedures. Efficiently managing deliveries, preparing maintenance work orders, and assisting the Business Office Manager with various projects are also part of the role. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- must have excellent telephone communication skills
- familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Provide ongoing telephone coverage
- solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner that meets organizational objectives and ensures individuals feel served appropriately
- keep difficult situations from escalating
- monitor front desk activity and maintain community security procedures
- accept delivery packages, document receipt, and notify the resident recipient of delivery
- prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
- assist the Business Office Manager with projects and assignments
- communicate effectively with department leaders and team members
- demonstrate dependability and flexibility while working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
