Job Description

The Village at The Woodlands Waterway is an esteemed senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional care and hospitality to its residents. This community embraces the unique and inspiring life stories of its residents, who are often regarded as the wisest people on earth. The Village at The Woodlands Waterway takes pride in fostering a warm, welcoming atmosphere where residents, guests, and staff alike feel valued and respected. The company is committed to investing in the future of senior living, not only by enhancing the quality of life for residents but also by prioritizing the development and well-being of its employees. This creates a supportive and empowering environment where team members can grow professionally and personally. Joining this community means more than just taking on a job; it means becoming part of an extraordinary life and contributing to a meaningful mission that enriches the lives of seniors every day.

The Village at The Woodlands Waterway is currently seeking a hospitality-focused PRN Concierge to join its team. This role is vital as it serves as the first point of contact for residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers visiting the community. The Concierge position requires a warm and professional demeanor to ensure everyone feels welcomed upon arrival. The role specifically involves a full-time evening shift from 4 PM until 12 AM, offering a consistent schedule that accommodates those who prefer working later hours. As a PRN Concierge, you will be responsible for managing guest relations, facilitating communication, and supporting the operational needs of the community to ensure smooth daily functioning.

The Concierge is tasked with providing ongoing telephone coverage, addressing and resolving issues in ways that meet organizational goals while ensuring individuals feel appropriately attended to. This often involves delicate situations where maintaining composure and conflict resolution skills are essential to prevent escalation. Additionally, responsibilities include managing package deliveries by documenting and notifying residents, preparing maintenance work orders as needed, and assisting the Business Office Manager with various projects and assignments. This multifaceted role plays a significant part in enhancing resident satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Benefits offered by The Village at The Woodlands Waterway for this position vary according to employment status but include eligibility for health benefits starting the first of the month following 30 days of continuous employment. Additional perks include vision and dental insurance, life insurance, a retirement plan or 401K, daily pay options, paid time off and sick leave, free meals for staff, and an employee recognition program. These benefits reflect the community's dedication to supporting its employees’ health, financial security, work-life balance, and overall job satisfaction.

This position is highly suited for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, value interpersonal communication, and are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a senior living community. If you are looking to join a team where your role truly matters and where you can make a tangible difference in people’s everyday lives, The Village at The Woodlands Waterway welcomes you to apply and become part of their extraordinary team.
