Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to three years related experience and/or training
Basic First Aid and CPR certification where required
Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs
Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
Able to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed
Able to operate telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, photocopier

Job Qualifications

Basic math skills including adding and subtracting two digit numbers and multiplying and dividing by tens and hundreds
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to operate telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, photocopier

Job Duties

Serves as point of contact for all resident requests and telephone calls except emergencies
Coordinates services for residents and family members including dry cleaning, grocery and drug store delivery, dinner reservations, beauty parlor services, theater and movie tickets, and transportation services
Maintains extremely high standards of customer service including meeting new residents and family within 48 hours to explain concierge services and tracking concerns
Answers questions regarding local stores, attractions and services
Ensures lobby and first floor common areas and restrooms are clean and welcoming, including setting appropriate background music and ordering fresh floral arrangements
Coordinates community transportation schedule including medical and Engage Life outings, schedules appointments, and makes reminder calls to residents
Serves as liaison between dining room and residents, managing guest meal reservations and RSVP lists for events
May supervise front desk reception staff and drivers and provide coverage
May drive company vehicle to social and other destinations if required
May perform other duties as assigned
