Job Qualifications
- Previous luxury hotel experience preferred
- Previous concierge experience required
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Detail orientation
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of the surrounding area and attractions
- Proficiency with Property Management Systems and related computer programs
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Job Duties
- Go above and beyond guests expectations by providing assistance and services for guests to ensure pleasurable accommodations
- Arrange bookings and reconfirm airline tickets
- Be fully acquainted with different points of interests
- Assist in arranging restaurant reservations and limousines as required by guests
- Ensure delivery of parcels, mail, special deliveries to guest rooms
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the public lobby area partnering with housekeeping department
- Accept other special duties as required by management
- Set up amenities for guests celebrating special occasions
- Set up special packages including pre-calls from concierge and specialized amenities
- Interact with other departments to ensure guest needs are satisfied
- Speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner making them feel welcome
- Proactively seek ways to improve the hotel experience for guests
- Handle special requests such as flowers, telegrams, rental cars, forwarding luggage, private car services
