The role of Concierge at Belmont Village Senior Living is a vital frontline position within their community. This part-time role, compensated at $16.00 per hour, is designed for individuals who are reliable, empathetic, and take pride in contributing to an exceptional customer service experience. As a Concierge, you will be the initial point of contact for residents, their family members, vendors, and visitors, ensuring that everyone feels welcomed and valued from the moment they enter the community. Your responsibilities will span providing accurate and timely information, supporting administrative functions, and maintaining a safe and inviting environment.
Typical work hours for this role include a combination of mornings and afternoons across the week, with specific shifts on Saturday from 6 am to 2 pm, Monday from 2 pm to 9 pm (including every other Monday from 2 pm to 5 pm), Tuesday from 2 pm to 5 pm, and Wednesday from 2 pm to 9 pm. The ideal Concierge excels in a dynamic and physically active setting, demonstrating excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a genuine desire to enhance the lives of senior residents.
This position calls for a candidate who can handle a multi-line phone system with professionalism, manage logistical tasks such as package distribution and event coordination, and respond effectively to emergency situations following company protocols. Job Duties
- Greet residents, visitors and staff warmly
- Manage and direct incoming phone calls efficiently and professionally
- Address inquiries and requests promptly, reliably and confidentially with empathy and dignity
- Log and coordinate distribution of packages as appropriate
- Collaborate with various departments to promote effective communication
- Monitor community access by ensuring proper use of the kiosk sign-in process and respond to emergency situations according to company policy and procedure
- Schedule resident transportation, coordinate resident trips, manage event and guest meal reservations, and assist with event setup as needed
- Record maintenance work order requests through an electronic record system
- Maintain an organized workspace to promote efficiency and preserve first appearance impressions
- Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction
