The Concierge role at Hotel MdR is essential to delivering exceptional service from the moment guests arrive until departure. This full-time position emphasizes attentive, courteous, and efficient engagement with each guest, fostering a welcoming atmosphere through conversation and recognition. The Concierge is responsible for responding promptly to guest needs, resolving issues, and providing accurate information about the city, events, and attractions. This role supports operational synergy by collaborating with departments such as Sales, Front Office, and Bellman/Van as needed. The Concierge must maintain a high level of professionalism, composure under pressure, and the ability to quickly evaluate solutions to guest concerns. Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with check-ins and check-outs, arranging transportation, coordinating special events, and ensuring smooth communication within the hotel team via proper radio etiquette. This position requires familiarity with the Front Desk computer system and adherence to Aimbridge Hospitality standards and policies. Job Requirements

- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately

Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards
- Comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times
- Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards
- Assist front office manager with hiring and training
- Coordinate special events or special projects as assigned
- Assist guests with problems with hotel services
- Arrange transportation needs for guests
- Respond to inquiries with accurate information regarding hotel features, services and assistance
- Be knowledgeable of daily functions, VIPs and any other special events occurring in or pertaining to the hotel
- Provide information on the geographical area
- Suggest site-seeing locations and arrange tours
- Be familiar with all Aimbridge Hospitality policies and house rules as well as hospitality terminology
- Have knowledge of and assist in emergency procedures as required
- Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner
- Fully comprehend and be able to operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and employees at all times
- Ensure logging and delivery of packages, mail and messages as needed
- Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with other employees
- Attend meetings as required by management
- Perform any other duties as requested by management
