Job Duties

  • Provide positive first impression to all who enter the community
  • answer and screen all incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner, routing calls and taking messages as appropriate
  • greet all visitors in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
  • screen and require visitors to sign in at reception desk
  • notify residents of visitors
  • instruct resident's visitor according to resident's instructions
  • receive and process incoming mail
  • accept all outgoing mail/packages
  • type, copy, order, and maintain inventory of office supplies, performing other clerical duties as assigned
  • maintain and update emergency phone number log and keep log at front desk
  • maintain and update emergency contact information on each resident and keep information at front desk
  • assist managers with various clerical responsibilities
  • page staff as necessary
  • take RSVPs for special functions, as necessary
  • oversee sign-up for scheduled transportation
  • hand out maintenance requests forms and pass them onto environmental services director
  • perform other duties as necessary, including light housekeeping duties
