The role of Concierge at Planned Companies is integral to this mission. As a frontline representative, the Concierge is entrusted with creating an inviting atmosphere by greeting and assisting tenants, guests, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner. The position involves a dynamic schedule covering mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends, thereby requiring flexibility and dedication. Located in several New Jersey communities including Harrison, Jersey City, and Hoboken, this position offers a competitive pay rate of $19.00 per hour.
Concierges at Planned Companies are more than just receptionists; they are the heart of the community experience, building rapport with tenants and customizing services to fit individual needs and expectations. This includes scheduling restaurant, hotel, and entertainment reservations, organizing on-site events, and providing detailed local information about dining, shopping, entertainment, and transportation options. The Concierge also manages the logistical aspects of property management such as securing mail and packages, tracking deliveries, controlling lobby access, and maintaining keys and access cards with vigilance.
This role demands a high level of interpersonal skills, multitasking ability, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Concierge is expected to be polite, friendly, and self-assured, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a sound understanding of basic computer operations. Knowledge of local attractions and services enhances the ability to provide tenants with unique and memorable experiences. Additionally, physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds is sometimes required.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience
- Desire and passion to provide a warm and welcoming hello to everyone
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills

- Polite, friendly, self-assured and able to multitask with good time-management skills
