Job Description
Cardinal Bay is a mission-driven, not-for-profit senior living health care organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for its residents. The organization prides itself on fostering an environment where residents can grow, thrive, and meaningfully contribute to community life. Guided by core values of Respect, Excellence, Appreciation, Connection, and Honor, Cardinal Bay creates a culture of care and support that prioritizes the well-being and dignity of each resident. This commitment extends to its staff, who are encouraged to REACH for the stars, embodying the organization's spirit of dedication and excellence.
Cardinal Bay operates multiple senior living communities and strives to maintain a warm, inviting atmosphere where residents feel a sense of belonging. Their approach centers on building strong relationships and connections among residents, families, and staff. This holistic focus on community engagement and quality health care makes Cardinal Bay a respected leader in senior living services.
Currently, Cardinal Bay has an outstanding opportunity for a Part-Time Concierge to join the team at the Village on the Park Steeplechase community. This role is vital as it establishes the first impressions many individuals have of the community. The Part-Time Concierge serves as a welcoming face and key source of information for residents, families, prospective residents, guests, and employees. The concierge helps maintain a secure, safe environment throughout the community by monitoring access and promptly responding to emergencies or inquiries.
The role is designed for individuals who are professional, friendly, detail-oriented, and responsive. The night and weekend shifts require a high level of alertness and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Shift times include 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with additional PRN (as needed) and holiday or weekend shifts on a rotating basis.
This position is an excellent fit for candidates who want to contribute to a vibrant community while utilizing their customer service skills. The concierge is responsible for managing public traffic, maintaining orderliness in common areas, responding to resident or visitor needs, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Duties include monitoring security systems, assisting with maintenance orders, handling emergency situations, and providing courteous and professional service at all times.
Cardinal Bay offers comprehensive benefits to its employees, including health, dental, and vision coverage with significant employer contributions. Life insurance is fully covered, and full-time employees earn paid vacation that increases with tenure. Additional perks include exclusive discounts on insurance, electronics, travel, apparel, and wellness services, as well as access to an Employee Assistance Program providing confidential counseling services. The organization also supports employee development through advancement and cross-training opportunities across its communities and offers a 401(k) retirement plan with matching contributions.
Overall, the Part-Time Concierge role at Cardinal Bay's Village on the Park Steeplechase is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting seniors and enhancing community life in a respected not-for-profit setting. With a welcoming team environment, meaningful work, and comprehensive benefits, Cardinal Bay invites qualified candidates to join their mission-focused organization and help create enriching experiences for their residents.
