Job Description

Currently, QSL Management is seeking a Concierge to join the team at The Blake at (Community Name). This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have a genuine passion for serving others and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. The Concierge acts as the first impression for residents, guests, and employees, providing a high level of hospitality through courteous and professional service. The position emphasizes the importance of communication skills, attention to detail, and a polished, pleasant demeanor.

The Concierge will perform various front desk responsibilities, including answering phones with proper greetings, directing visitors appropriately, and maintaining in/out procedures to ensure safety and security. Maintaining the cleanliness and welcoming appearance of the lobby and front porch area is also a key responsibility, contributing to the overall resident and guest experience. Additionally, the Concierge will assist with activities held in the lobby area and may lead weekend or evening activities during quieter times, enhancing the social environment within the community.

Other duties include general office support tasks as requested and delivering packages to residents. The work schedule is set for Thursday through Sunday, 3 PM to 11 PM, offering a stable and consistent part-time opportunity. Job Requirements

  • Must have a caring heart willing to serve others
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years general office experience including reception experience
  • Experience working with the older adult population preferred
  • Professional and polished with proper grammar skills and pleasant voice tone
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management and oral/written skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be attentive to details, able to multi-task and work with multiple interruptions
  • Basic knowledge with Microsoft Word preferred
  • Basic knowledge with Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Schedule is Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday 3pm to 11pm

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years general office experience including reception experience
  • Experience working with the older adult population preferred
  • Professional and polished with proper grammar skills and pleasant voice tone
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management and oral/written skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word preferred

Job Duties

  • Offer high level hospitality to all residents, guests and employees, you are our first impression
  • Fulfill front desk responsibilities including answering the phone courteously with proper greetings and directing visitors appropriately
  • Ensure that lobby and front porch area is clean and free of trash
  • Assist with activities conducted in the lobby near phone and front door and lead weekend/evening activities when less traffic occurs
  • Assist with other general office tasks upon request
  • Deliver packages to residents
