Currently, The Delaney at Lake Waco is seeking a hospitality-focused Concierge to join their team on a part-time basis. This position plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers visiting the community. The Concierge is responsible for creating a warm, inviting, and professional atmosphere that reflects the high standards of the Delaney community. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to handle various tasks, from answering telephone calls to managing front desk activities and coordinating deliveries. The Concierge also supports the operational side by preparing maintenance work orders and assisting the Business Office Manager with special projects and assignments. Flexibility is essential, as this role requires the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Job Duties
- Provide ongoing telephone coverage
- solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner so that both the organizational objectives are met, as well as the individuals feel they were served appropriately
- keep difficult situations from escalating
- monitor front desk activity and maintain community security procedures
- accept delivery packages, document receipt of packages, and notify the resident (recipient) of delivery
- prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
- assist the Business Office Manager with projects/assignments
- communicate effectively with department leaders and team members
- be dependable, flexible, and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
