The Concierge role at Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa is central to delivering the signature Hyatt hospitality experience. This position involves being the primary point of contact for guests seeking personalized assistance, whether for transportation arrangements, dining reservations, or local activity recommendations. Working closely within the VIP and Guest Experience Team, including collaboration with the Lead Concierge and management, Concierges ensure that guest requests are met promptly and with utmost care. This role requires not only technical skills such as proficiency with reservation systems like Alice and Opera, but also style, poise, and excellent communication abilities to create positive and lasting impressions.
Successful Concierges anticipate guest needs and go beyond expectations to provide memorable experiences while maintaining meticulous attention to detail such as keeping the concierge desk and lobby welcoming and organized. This role also involves monitoring food and beverage outlet capacities and guest satisfaction, offering assistance to front desk operations when needed, and ensuring seamless internal communication across departments. Job Requirements
- A minimum of a diploma in hospitality or tourism management or a relevant field
- Ability to speak a second language fluently will be considered an asset
- Good working knowledge of Reserve or Opera software is an asset
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Physically agile with the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Well-groomed with a professional appearance
- Les Clefs d-Or affiliation is required

Job Duties
- Assist with responding to guest requests for special arrangements or services such as transportation, dining reservations, local activities by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers
- Respond to special requests with unique needs and follow up with the guest or vendor to ensure satisfaction
- Accurately enter all guest requests and necessary information in Alice and Opera
- Monitor food and beverage outlets for seating availability, service, and overall feel of a particular area
- Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests
- Provide gracious and efficient telephone service related to general PBX services
- Review and note all special requests of guests
- Assist with the completion of all items on the daily checklist
- Communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments and personnel
- Provide assistance to the front desk when needed
- Ensure the concierge desk and lobby are clean, organized, and tidy
- Maintain complete knowledge of the property, brand and World of Hyatt program
- Perform all other related duties as required
